Here we go...

All righty, then. First off, not exacly on topic, this is my first blog, so bear with me if i do something stupid.

This is a philosophy blog discussing the ethical side of suicide. I warn you now, i will be speaking bluntly,  and mean no insult/harm to any persons reading my blog. if you find this a... touchy subject, i implore you, do not read onward. this is a purely intellectual conversation, with no emotional side at all.

To start things off, i say that suicide should have absolutely no legal restrictions in any way shape or form. There is no reason why one could not choose to end their own life if they want. It is, after all, their life. Let me amend, this. Unless the persons life directly affects another's, and unless this suicide would cause that other person harm in some manner, there should be no reason why somebody could not end their life. i'm out of time, so i will have to finish this thought later, but please, start responding

  1. ok - I'm guessing Cain? Thank you for your warning. I will read on, but I can understand how others may have sensitivities in this area. Any comments on the question of the day?
